How Each Service Is Carried Out
Every job at Detik Warisan follows the same intake sequence: visual examination, documentation of the condition as found, communication of the findings to the client, and approval before work begins. This applies whether the piece is coming in for a full overhaul or a simple strap change.
The three service areas are kept distinct rather than bundled. A client needing only a new crystal does not pay for movement work they did not ask for. Where we find something else worth addressing during an inspection, we note it in the condition report without incorporating it into the scope unless asked.
Full Movement Service & Overhaul
Complete disassembly of the movement, ultrasonic cleaning of every component, inspection of the mainspring barrel and jewels, fresh lubrication to manufacturer viscosity charts, reassembly and multi-position timing regulation. Suited to mechanical and self-winding pieces that have not been opened in four to five years, or that run fast, slow or stop when worn.

- Complete disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning of all parts
- Mainspring barrel and jewel inspection
- Lubrication to manufacturer viscosity specification
- Six-position timing regulation and documented result
- Fresh case gasket set fitted
- Six-month workshop record provided
Process Steps
Drop off the watch — inspection and condition report completed within one to two working days
Condition report sent or handed to client — decision to proceed is yours
Movement disassembled, cleaned and lubricated to manufacturer charts
Timing regulation — six positions measured and recorded
Case resealed with fresh gasket set; piece collected with service record
Crystal, Crown & Gasket Renewal
Replacement of scratched or chipped acrylic, mineral or sapphire crystals, fitting of a matched crown and stem, and renewal of case-back and pusher gaskets. Water resistance is re-tested to the original rating using dry vacuum and pressure testing. Appropriate for daily-wear pieces exposed to rain, swimming or humid conditions.

- Matched crown and stem fitted if required
- Case-back and pusher gaskets renewed
- Dry vacuum and pressure test — result recorded as a number
- Light case cleaning included
- Written note on seal maintenance provided
Process Steps
Piece examined — crystal type confirmed, crown and gasket condition noted
Parts sourced if not in stock — you are contacted if this affects turnaround
Crystal, crown and gaskets fitted; case cleaned
Pressure test performed — result recorded and included with piece
Bracelet, Strap & Wearing Comfort Fitting
Sizing and re-pinning of metal bracelets, replacement of worn spring bars, straightening of stretched links, and fitting of leather, rubber or fabric straps chosen with the client during a short consultation. Includes cleaning of the bracelet with the clasp opened, inspection of link pins for hidden wear and a comfort check on the wrist before the piece leaves the counter.

Shared Technical Standards
Client Data Privacy
Contact details and service records are stored securely and used only for the relevant job. No marketing distribution without consent.
Pre-Work Documentation
All work is preceded by a written condition report. No task begins without the client's decision to proceed.
Reference Library
Manufacturer service bulletins and calibre-specific lubrication data inform each overhaul. Applied viscosity matches the specification for the individual calibre.
Pressure Testing Equipment
Calibrated dry pressure testing applied after gasket work. Results recorded numerically, not restated as a general performance claim.
Timing Machine Records
Post-overhaul rate measured in six positions. The trace is provided with the piece — a factual record rather than a verbal assurance.
Walk-In Policy
All clients are welcome during workshop hours without prior appointment. Bracelet work is typically completed while you wait.
